Cookie Policy

Last updated:

This policy lists everything nebulairis.com stores in your browser. The list is short: the site has no analytics or advertising, and the only third-party element is the Cloudflare spam check on the contact form.

1. What this covers

Cookies are small files a website saves in a browser. Local storage is a similar place in the browser that a site can write to. The rules on consent apply to both, so we describe both here.

2. What the site stores

  • Name
    nebula-iris.consent
    Type
    Local storage
    Purpose
Keeps the choice you made in the cookie notice, its date and the version of this policy, so that you are not asked on every page
    Kept for
Until you change the choice, clear site data, or this policy is updated
    Set by
    This site (first party)
    Category
    Strictly necessary
  • Name
    cf.turnstile.u
    Type
Local storage of challenges.cloudflare.com, inside the spam-check frame
    Purpose
Used by the Cloudflare Turnstile check on the contact form to tell people from automated programs
    Kept for
Local storage has no expiry date: until you clear site data in your browser
    Set by
    Cloudflare, Inc. (third party)
    Category
    Strictly necessary

The site sets no cookies. Fonts and images are served from the site itself. The Cloudflare spam check is loaded from challenges.cloudflare.com only when you scroll to the contact form on the home page, and it protects the form you are about to use. We therefore treat it as strictly necessary: it does not depend on your choice in the cookie notice.

The table reflects what we observed in a browser on 4 October 2026: the check set no cookies and stored the one item above. What the check stores is decided by Cloudflare and may change; Cloudflare describes its handling of Turnstile data in its own privacy documents.

3. Categories

  • Strictly necessary: always on. These are the items in the table above.
  • There are no other categories. If one is ever added, this policy will be updated and you will be asked to choose again before anything of that kind is switched on.

4. Changing your choice

On your first visit, the notice offers “Accept all”, “Reject all” and “Settings”. You can reopen it at any time through the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page. You can also clear the stored choice in your browser settings; the notice will then appear again.

5. Questions

Write to info@nebulairis.com. How we handle personal data in general is described in the Privacy Policy. This policy exists in English and Traditional Chinese; if the two differ, the English text prevails.
